Call for papers
The Department of History, Philosophy and Sociology of "The Lower Danube"
University of Galaţi, Romania invites young scholars (PhD candidates,
postdocs, researchers, etc.) to take part at the international conference
The Economic and Social Development of
South-Eastern Europe and the Black Sea Area (from the Antiquity
to the Present Day).
The conference will take place in Galați (Romania) on 17-18 September 2015.
The organisers invite
young academics to submit abstracts of about 300 words and a short CV (one
page) to the e-mail addresses below no later than
23 July 2015.
The working languages of
the conference will be English and Romanian.
The papers will be published in STUDIUM [ISSN 2248-2164], a journal indexed
in
EBSCO,
CEEOL and Index Copernicus databases, following the standard procedure
for this peer-review academic journal. Accepted candidates should send us
the full text of their paper no later than 5 September 2015.
There is no participation fee for this conference. Depending on the number
of accepted applicants, the organisers will provide free or inexpensive
accommodation and meals to our guests.
